Mursha Gapasin talks about her multicultural volunteering research.

What is exciting about this research is that we are generating some very interesting insights about the culture of volunteering in Australia, particularly involving volunteers from multicultural or culturally diverse communities - that some of the forms of volunteering going on in communities are different from what we find in mainstream organisations. There is also the growing recognition of the wealth of knowledge, skills and impact that volunteers from culturally diverse communities have contributed and continue to contribute to society.  

But tapping into this rich potential is still something that needs more work, and we at Volunteer West look forward to continuing the conversations with you.
