How volunteer Rohit Kumar built community connections in an online world

The importance of community connection was emphasised during the events of 2020. Organisations such as Western Bulldogs Community Foundation showed innovation in maintaining their established programs while adapting their outreach when face-to-face interaction was not available.

Volunteer Rohit Kumar joined the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation at a pivotal time.

His role was part of the Connecting The West program, reaching out to isolated communities who had trouble accessing technology and helping them get online to join Daughters Of The West program.

As a guest of Volunteer West’s launch of VolConnect, Rohit took the time to speak with us about his volunteer journey so far.
